From stones to seeds

Endanda Eco was born out of a story of hunger a story that began in Kasese, Uganda.
Our founder, once a young boy walking miles to school on an empty stomach, knows what it means to study hungry, to fake a meal, and to dream on an empty stomach.

He met Sharon, a girl who fainted on her way to school because she had not eaten. Her story reignited a memory the day he too packed stones and black soil in banana leaves to fake food, just to stay in class.

From that pain, a purpose was born: to end hunger, one home, one school, one seed at a time.

Inspired by seeing a friend’s healthy flowerpot, Moris imagined, “What if that flower could grow into food?”

He planted three tomato seedlings in an old sack the start of Endanda Eco.
Today, he walks the journey from hunger to hope, nurturing a new generation to grow their own food and end the cycle of poverty

Endanda Eco is a community-based initiative born from lived experience turning the pain of hunger into the purpose of food security. We believe that every family, no matter how small their space, can grow something that sustains life.

Our Mission

To put to an end hunger and malnutrition amongst children and their families through practical, sustainable, and eco-friendly food production

Our vision

A community where homes and schools grow food for health, learning, and dignity

A child who eats, stays in school.
A parent who grows food earns a living.
A community that feeds itself writes a new story  one of dignity, health, and pride

Every parent dreams of raising a healthy, happy, and educated child but this isn’t the reality  of what happens in the absence of want like food….

We aim to reduce hunger, malnutrition and poverty in the rural communities.
