Services

  1. School Gardens Initiative

We help schools transform idle land into living classrooms.
Children learn to plant, water, and harvest and in the process, they grow both food and future.
Gardens provide lunch, nutrition lessons, and reduce absenteeism.

  1. Backyard Farming Program

We train parents to convert backyards, verandas, and even small corners into productive gardens.
Every home can be a farm, every parent, a nutrition hero.

  1. Vertical & Rooftop Gardening

For families without land, we introduce innovative methods: recycled containers, vertical stands, and hydroponic systems.
With creativity, even one square meter can feed a family.

  1. Poultry & Small Animal Rearing

We teach families to rear poultry and small livestock for protein and income thereby strengthening both health and resilience.

  1. Eco-Nutrition Education

We work with teachers to integrate nutrition, environmental care, and sustainable food systems into lessons thereby shaping a generation that knows how to feed itself and care for nature.

Quote highlight:

“Where others see poverty, we see possibility.
Where others see hunger, we see hands ready to plant hope.”

How it is done

To the parents, we:-

  • Conduct household training sessions on home gardening techniques.

  • Provide seeds, composting tips, and water-saving irrigation methods.

  • Encourage the use of recycled containers as done for urban farming.

  • Train participants in vertical gardening using stands, sacks, and hanging containers.

  • Demonstrate hydroponic and rooftop garden systems where soil is not available.

  • And how to keep domestic small animals and birds.
  • Equally to fight malnutrition, we make awareness and training on proper diet.

The health of children starts with food

  • At Endanda Eco, we believe that every healthy mind begins with a nourished body.

  • Children who eat well learn better, think clearly, and grow with strength and confidence.

  • Many classrooms today face hidden hunger — children attend school on empty stomachs, unable to concentrate or participate fully.

  • We work to change this by connecting food, education, and the environment through our school and home gardening programs.

  • Each garden we build becomes a learning space where children plant, care for, and harvest food that feeds both body and mind.

  • Parents and teachers join hands to teach children the value of nutrition, hygiene, and environmental care.

  • Through backyard and rooftop gardens, even small spaces become sources of vegetables and hope.

  • Our poultry and nutrition education programs ensure children get balanced diets rich in protein and vitamins.

  • When families grow their own food, they save money, eat fresh, and live healthier lives.

Why we involve children

Children are the future guardians of the environment.
By teaching them to grow food and care for nature early, we nurture a generation that values sustainability and self-reliance.

Learning through doing builds life skills.
Gardening, feeding animals, and recycling teach responsibility, teamwork, and patience  lessons that extend beyond the classroom. Beyond that, they are the main victims in absence of food.
